開発の経緯と開発者についてお話していきます。
バイオハザード7のあとイーサンが主人公というのは早い段階で決まっており制作していったようです。
プロデューサーは神田剛さんとピーターファビアーノさんです。先日の配信でもこのお二方は登場されていました。ピーターさんは前作バイオハザードのキャラクターにもなっている方です。遊び心がありますね！さらにメイキング映像から、前作7でゲームデザイナーを務めた佐藤盛正さんがディレクター、バイオハザード6でもアートディレクターを務めた高野友憲さんがアートディレクターということがわかりました。
クリスが元の顔に戻ったのも高野さんのおかげかもしれません。また開発者さんも引き続きしていることやバイオハザード7の続編にあたりイーサンの完結編と言われているあたりバイオハザード7とのつながりがあるのかもしれません。

イーサンとミアはベイカー邸から脱出したあとBSAAの監視下のもと平穏な日々を過ごしていたようです。そしてクリスが率いる謎の集団が襲撃してきてミアが殺害されイーサンがどこかへ連れていかれます。その後雪に覆われた山で目が覚めたイーサンは森を抜け村へ行きます。そしてイーサンは村で未知なる恐怖と様々な感情に出会うようです。

Then a mysterious group led by Chris attacks, killing Mia and taking Ethan away. Ethan wakes up in a snow-covered mountain and goes through the forest to the village. まずは村人です。この解説に意味深な文字がありまして、「人間の村人」という風になっています。先日の狩野英孝さんの実況でも人間とクリーチャーがいるといっていたので同じ村に暮らしているのでしょうか。あくまでも予想ですが、人狼ゲームのように村人の中に人狼が紛れているというお話かもしれません。
このシーンは祈りを捧げているシーンになります。最後はマザーグランダといっていると思います。マザーといえばしかわかりませんがすでに死亡しています。また聖母と呼ばれていたアレックスも死亡しています。

The first one is the Villager. In the description, there is a character who is described as a “human villager”. In Hidetaka Kano’s play-by-play commentary the other day, he mentioned that there are both humans and creatures, so they may be living in the same village. It’s just a guess, but it could be a story about a werewolf mixed in with the villagers, just like in a werewolf game.

続いて巷では魔女と呼ばれているキャラです。「…生と死に栄光を与えん…我らが為に鐘はなる…再び来るのじゃ…」というセリフが公開されており、バイオハザードシリーズでいうとリベレーションズ2の転生やバイオハザード4の鐘に関連しているという予想で盛り上がっています。

続いて謎の貴婦人とお仲間たちです。虫を操るといわれています。現時点ではキスシーンと電話に出ているシーンしか明かされていません。ちなみにこちらのシーンの奥にある紋章がこちらの画像の奥のものだと予想しています。鳥が串刺しになっているような感じに見えます。そんなことよりもすんごい怒っています。何があったのでしょうか？

最後に敵キャラについてなのですが一切情報が公開されません。狩野英孝さんも聞いていましたがかたくなに情報が出ませんでした。巷では人狼や狼男と呼ばれていますが、公式情報では村に巣くうクリーチャーとしか紹介されていません。動画内の情報では噛みつき攻撃と咆哮、引っ掻き、武器の使用が分かります。また群れで行動しています。

現時点で発表されているステージは、イーサンの住んでいた家、雪山、村、城、です。そしてイーサンは村人達とクリーチャーと出会います。また商売をしている村人とアタッシュケースと通貨があることから武器などの購入ができる可能性があります。そして通貨からルーマニアだと予想されています。以前のバイオハザード5がどこの国なのか調べてみた際も通貨から断定できたので信憑性は高いと思われます。

一番印象的なのはアンブレラのマークです。前作の続編なのでコネクションもしくはHCFが登場するかもと予想していましたが、昔のアンブレラマークです。

続いてゲームシステムについて先日の実機プレイとこれまでのトレーラーを合わせて解説していきます。

まずは購入システムです。お金と商人、そしてアタッシュケースがあるのでバイオ4のような武器商人システムが今作はあるようです。

さらに敵を倒すとアイテムドロップがあります。何が出るのか分かりませんが実機プレイでは見たことがないアイテムと言われています。この発言を信じるならリベレーションズ2のウサギやエンドオブゾイの昆虫みたいな感じで動物の毛皮とか骨を使うのかもしれません。あくまでも予想ですが、ハンドガンの弾やハーブや類似する物ならそのような発言が出るのかという疑問が残ります。

また今作ヴィレッジは飛び越える、タンスの移動が可能なようです。戦い方の幅が広がりよりアクション性が上がったと考えられます。バイオ7からの流れを考えるならバイオハザードRE3がアクションの快適性が抜群に良かったのでヴィレッジも期待が高いです。

まず全体的な物語の流れですがおとぎ話として描かれるような演出があります。少女が森に飲み込まれる話とイーサンが森に入って行く描写があります。またおとぎ話を用いた理由にバラエティに富んだストーリーを一つの書物にまとめる表現として使っているようです。過去作の伏線と考えるならリベレーションズ2とバイオハザード6から8年なので伏線なのかもしれません。リベレーションズ2とバイオハザード7とバイオハザードヴィレッジにニンニクを吊るしたものがあります。ニンニクがその証拠という意味の分からない根拠ですがただのオブジェなのかそれとも繋がっているのか、気になります。

First of all, the overall storyline of the game is presented in a way that it’s a fairy tale. There is a story about a girl being swallowed by a forest and Ethan going into the forest. Also, the reason for using fairy tales seems to be to combine the various stories into one book.
